The moment I met her, her piercing blue eyes lit up and a smile lifted her face. I knew without asking that this was Kelly, the wise graduate who chose to take her photos during “off season” to avoid long lines and big crowds. Pure genius! As she exchanged her sandals for shiny, silver stilettos, I noticed an elegant tattoo on her foot – it was a verse from a lullaby her mother often sang to her when she was little. Somehow, Kelly embodied personality traits that at first glance seem to juxtapose one another – she’s adventurous, bold, and yet also apparent are her softness and grace.
Kelly is well traveled (all the way to China!) and looking forward to start life post-bach in Las Vegas for a career in night-life management. She’s someone who definitely seizes every moment of the day. She’s driven and also very flexible. We knew our portrait session might be postponed due to inclement weather. We played it by ear the whole day and… it poured cats & dogs before the photoshoot and thunders rolled in after the photoshoot. But our entire time together was picture perfect. It was just meant to be. 🙂
Kelly, thank you so much for such a wonderful afternoon! My best wishes to you as you embark on your grand adventures ahead. Keep on seizing the day!
