I had so much fun directing this upcoming kdrama series. 😉 When Peilin reached out to have photos taken with her boyfriend at Pattee & Paterno Library, I knew we’d be kindred spirits. Although I got married at a castle four years ago, I’d tell you in a heartbeat that the library is an even more magical venue. [Then again, this is coming from a girl who fell in love with her pen pal before meeting him in person. ;)]
When Peilin and Henry showed up, I immediately knew I was about to direct the sequel to “Love Story in Harvard”. They were dressed so impeccably and there was definitely a star quality to the couple! It also helped that Peilin admits she’s also a fan of the very kdrama I thought of. This session felt very unique since it’s my first graduation photoshoot with a couple (instead of an individual or group of friends). And the kdrama-esque vibe certainly was not lost on us.
Peilin and Henry, stay forever young in love, will you? You guys exude so much calmness and serenity that often come from years of understanding one another. Whenever I lowered my camera to change its settings, I could see through my peripheral vision that Henry was brushing a stray hair from Peilin’s face or straightening out her blouse. These quiet moments of attentiveness and caring are so endearing. Ah, I’m cheering for you guys to take on the world together!
