Two years ago when I first photographed Evelyn, I told her mother Stacey that I have a sweet spot for Evelyn since my husband and I have always wanted a daughter and we even brainstormed names for one and decided upon Evelyn! Of course, we aren’t always in control of our greatest plans and joys. We adore our sons and gave them Vietnamese names (over the previously planned Evan and Ethan).
I *still* have a sweet spot for Evelyn. 🙂 She has such a gentle nature and it isn’t hard to see why. She got it from both her mother and father. 🙂 I can see very clearly the kindness, patience, and doting love they have toward their daughter. When it was time to take husband-and-wife portraits, I asked Mom and Dad to look in Evelyn’s direction, and instantly, tenderness washed over their facial expressions. ❤️
