In grad school, Jessie and I shared an office and a tea kettle. I even crashed on her futon at 1AM after a long day of research. Almost a decade later (kidding! kinda… ?), I got the pleasure of capturing memories for Jessie and her fiancé Jason!

Like all Penn State love stories, Jessie and Jason met at a graduate seminar in statistics. ? I remember when Jessie first told me about Jason, she jokingly said, “Our professor was our cupid.” #weare an institution that supports academic growth and fosters romantic relationships. Work-life balance at its finest, folks. ? And just like that, both their personal and professional lives took leaps and bounds. Beyond celebrating their recent engagement, Dr. Fu and Dr. Yang are also celebrating a new postdoc position and professorship. Congratulations all around!! ??

I am so happy for you and your coming adventures, especially with Jason by your side.
