There was such a bounce to her steps, despite the cold wintry day. Erha greeted me with a magnetic smile that conveyed so much happiness and confidence. And what wonderful reasons to be smiling. She’s a Penn State graduate *and* fiancé. Erha and Dean met in Bio class and journeyed through college together, capping their experience by graduating on the same day, and with the clear intention of spending forever together. In a day and age of online dating (nothing wrong with that! I met my husband via blogging actually ?), their love story is just so sweet, timeless, and one I’m certain they will enjoy sharing for generations to come. ?
Joining the momentous celebrations are Erha’s parents, who flew in all the way from Indonesia! Her sweet father at once told me he’s a fan of phở. 🙂 I love how proud everyone is of Erha’s achievement, but more so, how easygoing and self-assured their family bond is. Everyone truly dotes on Erha, who is the youngest in the family (me too! I know how it feels ?).
Erha – What a beautiful afternoon celebrating with you, Dean, and your family! Congratulations again! I can’t wait for what life holds in store for you. Or rather, I can’t wait to see how you continue to be an active agent in mapping out your life’s journey. ? Thank you for letting me experience a snippet of it and allowing me to capture your many milestones!
