Aubrey and Luke met as college freshmen when they both took part in a play. One of their most favorite memories is running through the rain together to the train station after having seen a production of Henry VIII. When I learned of their love story, I knew exactly where their engagement session would take place and how we can put their theatre background to work. ? What a privilege to help them re-create these memories at Talleyrand Park. I felt like both an art director and audience, completely enthralled with their chemistry and happiness.
I love the story of their first date at a coffee shop. It was on December 12, 2012. After grabbing coffee and having delightful conversations, Luke asked Aubrey if she realized how special the day was. She commented how the date – 12/12/12 – was quite unique. Then, Luke pulled out a bouquet of roses and asked if they could make the date more special by starting their relationship. His grand, romantic gestures, his ability to make Aubrey feel loved… That’s something quite tangible, quite palpable. I hope you can see that in their engagement photos. 🙂
Aubrey and Luke – thank you for allowing me the creative freedom to capture your storybook romance! Congratulations on your engagement and may your love always be magical! ❤️
