I recently saw an image of a huge “2020” sign in front of a house, claiming that’s their Halloween decor because they can’t possibly think of something scarier than 2020. I can’t blame these folks. But there’s a silver lining to all this. Social distancing has allowed more flexibilities in how we perform our work, especially where. Take this family for example. The choice of working from home has allowed a young Manhattan couple to re-locate to State College to be closer to their extended family. What a joyous opportunity, especially when they recently welcomed their newborn and Grandpa and Grandma now have the pleasure of frequently doting on baby Aveline.
What luck, too, that baby Aveline gets to have a playmate as fun and spirited as her cousin Hannah. These two are smitten with each other! (After all, no one will understand the craziness of one’s family better than cousins. :P) Baby Aveline is growing up so quickly, already pulling herself to stand at 7 months. I think she’s trying hard to catch up with Hannah. 🙂
Cheers to childhood memories and to making the best of 2020!
