I started having Zoom celebrations with my clients because I want to see their reactions when they view their images for the first time and… Ashley’s mom gave me the sweetest affirmation. She teared up right away and immediately grabbed tissues. Her love and pride for Ashley so, so evident. Our Zoom chat was such a wonderful reminder for why I do what I do. It’s not just pretty pictures. For graduates, it’s bottling up dreams, achievements, and ambitions. It’s freezing emotions and time. It’s celebrating an incredible milestone. And through these images, you get to re-visit that joy, that pride, anytime.
It isn’t difficult to see why Trish is so proud of her daughter. Since the line at the Nittany lion shrine was very long, I had plentiful time to get to know Ashley (and her friend Robyne who came for emotional support :P). These girls exchanged playful banter and inside jokes, all the while inviting me to experience campus through their perspectives. Yes, they clearly know how to have fun. Equally clear is how hard working Ashley is. She’s a graduate in psychology with a neuroscience concentration. She has her eyes set on attending medical school in San Diego and one day open up her own private practice. Aim high and manifest those dreams, Ashley!
