Kaley and Ryzeson have that sweet, storybook romance that began when they met on the first day of college orientation. Talk about expanding one’s horizon! They were tested with long distance (when the semester was over) and more recently, a pandemic. The ingredients for a romantic movie, non? 🙂
I think we have the tendency to associate chick flicks as feel-good movies but never qualifying them as classics. The Notebook is an exception, perhaps? Likewise, while Kaley and Ryzeson’s relationship can be categorized as a young love, there is great depth, understanding, and maturity present in their relationship.
I love that when I brought out the complete collection of Jane Austen, they dove right into the tome and started discussing the characters. There’s a sense of calmness, ease, and tenderness in that moment. The way she was fully immersed in the text and how he kept stealing glances at her… ?
Kaley and Ryzeson are also up for an adventure! I asked beforehand if they would be willing to get soaked, and they essentially told me life’s too short not to have fun. 🙂 So we headed to the lake and they walked right in. They did the lift. They twirled. They splashed. We all had SO much fun. I’d love an encore of this photoshoot, please! ❤️
