Who doesn’t love a picnic? That’s the tag line for Spring Creek Picnics, a new business in Bellefonte that focuses on providing romantic experiences while supporting local small businesses. I got to experience the talent and passion of Renea first hand and am so excited to share with you!
During the pandemic where we’re forced to work from home, Renea made the beach her home. It was there in California that she encountered these pop up picnics at the beach and knew she had to bring this concept back to Bellefonte. I love how she took an idea and really grew and expanded from it.
You can see Renea’s current picnic themes and offerings at springcreekpicnics.com. I love that she’s always innovating. Check back often because Renea will have new themes and ideas for her picnics! My latest obsessions include the stargazing package and the ever-so-elegant floral centerpiece.
Spring Creek Picnics are perfect for a special occasion, a photoshoot, or just a hang out with friends. Renea will cater to your individual, unique visions. While you can use her current themes as the base, you have so many add-on options to truly stylize your picnic to your tastes.
My husband and I opted for a timeless, romantic glam theme to celebrate our 7th wedding anniversary. (If you’ve been following with my home decor, you’ll see that this picnic setup is oh-so me.) It was such an intimate experience in a very storybook setting. Since Renea lives just across the street from Talleyrand Park, she knows this location like the back of her hands. She can find the most shaded spot for a sunny day and avoid all the duck gatherings.
The picnic experience also comes with a few games to keep conversations going. Isn’t it so nice to slow down, put away electronics, and re-connect with the people we love? Renea also includes duck food if you want to give the ducks a feast. 🙂
Speaking of food… We purchased paninis and refreshments from Bonfatto’s and everything was so delicious! I seriously could drink their lychee dragonfruit and strawberry acai all day everyday. Bonfatto’s also has amazing charcuterie boards that are perfect for picnics!
I hope you’ll get a chance to experience your own Spring Creek Picnic soon. It is such a great way to re-connect, to celebrate, and to support local businesses. 🙂 And let me know if you want to incorporate the picnic experience into your next portrait session! 🙂
