Alexa is pure joy personified! I love her infectious energy and positive attitude. Alexa’s secret? Begin the day by spreading joy.

“Good morning loves!” These are the words Alexa greets her family every morning.

Even though I only got to meet Alexa and her mom, I can easily sense how tight knit her family is. Alexa’s face lit up when I suggested we take a mother-daughter photo. And towards the end of our session, after Alexa has gotten soaked in the water (because she’s a super good sport), Mom gave up her shoes so Alexa could walk more comfortably among our gravel path. It is in these small, but incredibly thoughtful actions, that invited me into their warm, loving relationship.

Right at the end of our session, as we were walking toward the parking lot, the sun was setting. The sky was boasting its vibrant colors. Of course I unpacked my gears! We had to capture this moment. And Alexa never failed to be the summer goddess that she is. 🙂 She’s beautiful running through the field of tall grass, playful splashing in the water, ever gentle with nature, and always so graciously up for an adventure.
