There was an overflowing of love from families and friends. The union of Amanda and Andy meant much more than just becoming Mr. and Mrs. Wixom. Their intimate winter matrimony at General Potter Farm rang in the new year with a promise of choosing each other for ever and always. Choosing to expand their families. Choosing to expand their friendship circles. Amanda and Andy made sure their wedding is very much a celebration for all their loved ones. The kindness, inclusion, and consideration they have toward others are unparalleled.
I love that their grandpa officiated their wedding, which initiated with a ring warming ceremony where families and friends warm the rings with blessings and good wishes for the happy couple. Their rings now hold the loving thoughts of everyone who has shared their wedding day. ❤️ Another beautiful way in which Amanda and Andy included their guests is through wedding readings. I love how Amanda and Andy sweetly smiled at each other, at their loved ones, and how they laughed in response to these readings.
But if I could pick a favorite moment from the ceremony? It’s when the bride walked down the aisle. I teared up then and again while editing these photos. Not only is Amanda such a stunning vision in her wedding dress, my focus locked into her eyes. The tears that welled up. The sweetness and tenderness in her expression. The way Andy was captivated. How sweetly he smiled as she made her way toward him. The way Amanda and her father hugged at the end of the aisle. These seconds build a lifetime of memories!
There were so many of these “seconds” throughout the day:
The anticipation and excitement of the first look! I adore how Andy took a deep breath before Amanda wrapped her arms around him. He had the biggest, sweetest grin before turning around to admire his bride. She twirled for him. They held the warmest embrace, really savoring this moment for just the two of them.
The happiness and pride that flooded over Mom as she helped Amanda get ready for the day.
The toasts that brought tears and laughter to everyone in attendance.
How sweetly their grandparents danced during the entire reception.
The tenderness that Andy’s mother gazed at her son and new daughter-in-law and the sheer joy she expressed for this happy couple.
Oh I can go on and on. But let the following pictures give you a glimpse into how beautiful, joyful, and warm the day was:

What a stunning bouquet! Always love and admire Emily from Emily’s Pocketful of Posies.

Can we talk about the food?! Absolutely delectable. They’re as delicious as they’re beautiful. Huge shout outs to Rebecca Elman from Hidden Hostess and Heather Luse from Delectable Delights. I kept overhearing guests praise how amazing everything tasted. It was truly a food experience – hot chocolate bar (to warm guests prior to the ceremony – how thoughtful!), gourmet appetizers, plated dinner, cupcake bar, wedding cake, oh my!

Drinks by Design Bartending took such great care of the bride & groom, guests, and vendors. She’s such a gem! Highly recommend!
Amanda & Andy – You two are made for each other! And so are your families. I am so impressed with the care and attention you put into planning your wedding. And how lucky we were to have such beautiful winter weather! Neither freezing weather nor mushy grounds greeted us. Only an intimate glow of happiness and warmth. What a beautiful celebration to commence your marriage, Mandy and Andy! ☺️ Here’s to your forever! 🥂
