Hello! I’m Nhi and I believe this is the beginning of something good!
I'm passionate about real connections, making memories, and creating gorgeous images that tell your story for future generations! I believe that photography is done best when couples have a relationship with their photographer and fully trust them. This is how I have guaranteed and delivered incredible photography experiences to my clients. When I arrive at the photoshoot, it's like an old friend showing up and not a stranger. This affects every aspect of how your photos will turn out! Keep reading to get to know me and who I am beyond the camera!
Here are a few fun facts...- My husband and I fell in love as pen pals before we met in person.
- We have two boys, Khai and Khang. Both their names mean joy. 😊
- I am two inches from being classified as a midget. I am fun-sized!
- My next dream vacation spot is Santorini, Greece.
- I received my PhD in Developmental Psychology from Penn State.
- I teach neuroscience and psychology courses at Penn State. We are!
Our Philosophy
Every photographer at Nhi Thai Photography understands the importance of capturing your senior portraits and this exciting time in your life. I have worked with them to train their artist eye as well as how to interact, pose, and photograph clients. I trust them with my own photos! Creating comfortable, joyful and genuine client experiences is what we specialize in. After your photoshoot, I (Nhi) will be editing the images so you can be rest assured that your photos are consistent with what you see in my portfolio.

Your portrait experience begins even before we meet for your session! Upon booking, you will gain access to your client portal, which includes the session guide (see next slide) with tons of tips on outfit choices, what colors look best on camera, how to coordinate outfits, and so much more! Also included in the client portal is a fun questionnaire to help me get to know you and your partner better in order to tailor your portrait experience to best reflect your love story!

Most frequent questions and answers
The location of your session is up to you! You can view my recommended photo spots here. I schedule portrait sessions approximately two hours before sunset during “golden hour”, when the light is dreamiest and most flattering.
Upon booking, you will be sent an information link for preparing your session. This includes a very detailed guide for choosing your outfits and other preparations to ensure that your session is amazing.
Your proofing gallery is ready within a week of your photoshoot! Once you purchase your digital package, I will finalize edits for your favorite images. 🙂
Absolutely! While it is recommended that you have your images professionally printed through your gallery in order to receive professionally quality prints, you are welcome to have prints made on your own through a lab of your choice.
A session fee is required to book your session. Let Nhi know which package you’re interested in and she’ll send over your booking proposal. We’re so excited to dream up your perfect portrait experience together!
