I'm passionate about real connections, making memories, and creating gorgeous images your family will treasure for generations! I believe that family photography is done best when families have a relationship with their photographer and fully trust them. This is how I have guaranteed and delivered incredible photography experiences to my families. When I arrive at the photoshoot, it's like an old friend showing up and not a stranger. This affects every aspect of how your photos will turn out! Keep reading to get to know me and who I am beyond the camera!
Here are a few fun facts...- My husband and I fell in love as pen pals before we met in person.
- We have two boys, Khai and Khang. Both their names mean joy. đ
- Khai wants to be âa doctor and then a daddy who gives lots of love and kissesâ when he grows up.
- I received my PhD in Developmental Psychology from Penn State.
- I love designing and decorating my home.
- My next dream vacation spot is Santorini, Greece.

1. Let’s Connect
Your portrait experience begins even before we meet for your session! Upon booking, you will receive your session guide (see next slide) with tons of tips on outfit choices, what colors look best on camera, how to coordinate the family, and so much more! About two weeks before your session, I’ll come to your home to help you select outfits for the whole family! This time together before your photoshoot will also help me tailor your portrait experience to best reflect your family bond and dynamic. đ

On the day of your portrait session, prepare to laugh lots and have fun! I’ll take care of the rest. We will create beautiful images that represent a meaningful stage in your lives. Most frequent questions and answers
The location of your session is up to you! You can view my recommended photo spots here. I schedule outdoor sessions approximately 90 minutes before sunset during âgolden hourâ, when the light is dreamiest and most flattering. In-home, lifestyle newborn sessions will take place in the morning.
Upon booking, you will be sent an information link for preparing your session. This includes a very detailed guide for choosing your outfits and other preparations to ensure that your session is amazing. Approximately two weeks before your session, we will schedule your in-home wardrobe consultation where I’ll help you finalize outfits for the whole family!
Absolutely! While it is recommended that you have your images professionally printed through your gallery in order to receive professionally quality prints, you are welcome to have prints made on your own through a lab of your choice.
A session fee is required to book your session. Just let Nhi know which portrait experience (‘Bliss’ or ‘Joyful’) you would like to book. I’m so excited to dream up your perfect portrait experience together!Â
