Meet our 2026 Recipient
I am absolutely thrilled to announce the recipient of the 2026 Teacher Appreciation Gift: Ms. Mariane Taylor.
Meeting her, sharing a heartfelt hug with her, and seeing her light up as she talks about her passions and her students is such a privilege. It is instantly clear why she is such a vital pillar of our community.
Even while fiercely navigating her own personal battle with cancer for a second time, Ms. Taylor’s dedication to her students has never wavered. She continues to show up with extraordinary strength, creativity, and grace. She instills not just a knowledge of science, but a lifelong curiosity and confidence in the minds of everyone she teaches.

Nhi is a portrait photographer serving Mansfield, TX and surrounding Dallas Fort Worth communities. As both a professor and an MISD parent, she is deeply rooted in the community she photographs.
Nhi specializes in capturing photographs that allow you to re-live your joy, love, and light with intentional artistry. Her creative work has been published in State College Magazine and featured at the Bellefonte Art Museum. When she isn’t behind the camera or teaching, she is passionate about finding ways to celebrate the educators and scholars who make our community shine.
